This month, Eat for Equity is helping C4C build a diverse and empowered community of bicyclists by hosting a fundraising dinner at the Minnesota Transportation Museum on April 30th!
Your supper money will support us in creating a Twin Cities region where everyone has access to a bicycle, tools, and the knowledge to ride safely and confidently, as well as our youth apprentice training and employment program, adult learn to ride classes, weekly open shops and volunteer nights, women and trans specific programming, a monthly Equity Council, and bicyclist and bike equity advocacy.
We will also be leading a group bike ride to the event! The ride will be about 6.5 miles total. Minneapolis riders will meet at 5:15pm near the Dunn Bros bike racks (4648 E. Lake St.) and leave at 5:30pm. Arrive at C4C St. Paul at 6:00pm to meet St. Paul riders and leave at 6:15pm. Arrive at Minnesota Transportation Museum (193 Pennsylvania Ave. E.) at 6:45pm. Bike lights, locks, and helmets required. Riders under 18 must be with parent or guardian. Since attendees can leave the dinner at any time, there is no organized bike ride back. The Green Line Capitol/Rice station is located 1.2 mile from the museum.
All are welcome at this house-party style feast. RSVP and give what you can as your donation, either ahead of time or at the door.
Hosted by the Minnesota Transportation Museum at its historic Jackson Street Roundhouse, a former steam engine maintenance facility that is one of the last of its kind in the country. Travel through history with working vintage trains, buses, and in-depth exhibits.”
The meal will be made entirely by volunteers – maybe even you! Find more info here.
