The Youth Bike Summit is coming up in two weeks, and we are looking to get volunteers signed up who are interested in helping out!
The Youth Bike Summit is a national three-day conference held annually that brings together educators, activists, and community leaders to focus on the intersections of youth, bicycles, and advocacy. The theme for this year’s conference is Momentum, so we’re engaging folks from different disciplines and backgrounds to explore how the bicycle is a catalyst for positive social change.
This year, the summit will be hosted over Memorial Day Weekend (May 27-29) at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. We’re looking for volunteers to help with registration/check-in, direct folks to/from workshops, facilitate our Slow Roll group bike ride, and more. If you know you’ll be available and are interested in signing up for a shift, here’s the sign-up form.
If you’d like to participate in the workshops and keynote addresses in addition to your volunteer shift, please take a moment to register for the Youth Bike Summit as well.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to Henry Kellison ([email protected]) if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you at the Youth Bike Summit!
